Hi, I'm a brown 1975 99LE which appears to have hit something
head on.
Yikes, right? Well, despite sitting on my hubs and rotors for
the last sixteen years, I'm fairly rust-free!
Here I am being raised up onto some wheels! Breaking the pads
free of the rotors was a challenge, especially up front.
As you can see, my 53,000 mile windshield is still intact, as
are many of my parts. That's why Chip's gonna come get me with a forklift
and get me out of this hellhole! Some wheels would be nice, for starters...
Thanks to my friend, the 9000 turbo, I am now out in the open
air!
Not to mention the friendly Homelite chainsaw, a direct descendant
of a two-stroke SAAB, I am sure...those trees were really in the way between
me and freedom!
Here, see my 53,000 mile B motor and 4-speed transmission. Hopefully
after 16 years of not-so-cold storage, it'll turn over.
Meet some of my old friends, with whom I'm no longer forced to
abide...
(insert gruff voice) Hi, I'm a green Sonett III. I don't know
how old I am, but I do know I don't have an engine, and I've been sitting
next to a Volvo of all things for the last who knows how many years!
(insert squeaky voice) Hi, I'm yet another Sonett III, and I
also have to sit next to that awful Volvo! No, I don't know how old I am
either...but I HAVE an engine!
