another day with the sandy saab
I've now had the carbs apart and cleaned, new hoses, new fuel
pump and a fresh in-line filter. The distributor has been out and serviced
completely - it is tight - fresher vacuum advance unit, new points, condenser,
cap, rotor, plugs and wires fitted.
The original horns are in pretty bad shape, so to get me through
inspection I had a couple FIAMM horns off some car or other kicking around.
Man is that uncharacteristic of a 2-stroke SAAB!
Another funny period ignition part on another neat old 2-stroke
SAAB. Might see if it works next!
