Bought new by my fiancée's mother in Waynesboro, VA, inherited by
my fiancée in 2003
(She has a short city commute and bought a VW Golf - hence the sale)
Nearly new Bridgestone tires all around - none
with more than 12k miles on them.
A few paint blemishes here and there (I'm being
picky) - it is an 8 year old car - but no accident damage ever.
Toyota's clearcoat on the accessory spoiler
had started to evaporate, so I had my local Jaguar body shop reshoot to
the original colour and to much better quality.
Rear bumper cover is unblemished and unbroken
as new. No clearcoat issues on it or the front.
Exhaust is original and fault-free.
Driver's door panel is trimmed in leather, no
issues anywhere.
LED on dash is for Hornet alarm system - this
comes with two keyless remotes and original keys. Works better than factory.
Original floormats are beneath L.L. Bean textured all weather mats. Carpet
is flawless.
Original AM/FM/Cassette works perfectly as does
original CFC-134a A/C system, will chase you out!
Beautiful tan leather is unblemished. I cleaned
and conditioned it last year.
Rear seat has three 3-point seatbelts and rear
head restraints for safety. Seats fold down for extended trunk space.
Original owners manual, supplements and manual
for the alarm and keyless entry system.
Engine bay is dry and undetailed to show that
there are no leaks or anything broken hidden underneath the usual 10 coats
of tire foam applied by used car lots. I am not a used car lot. And as such, reserve is below
Kelley Blue Book Private Party Sale in "Good" condition, even though they do not
take fully into account the very unusual low mileage... though if you want the car before
someone else takes the plunge, the Buy Price is also very reasonable.
I also had the alignment set and put new swaybar
link ends on it a month ago - one of the ball joint ends had ruptured. For
Christmas, I put the K&N Filtercharger in - and it will outlive this
Camry and those after it.
WHY ARE WE SELLING?
As stated above, she bought a smaller, less
opulent car. We have no children and I have a fleet of collector cars which
fit our recreational needs. This has been a totally reliable commuter car
for her, but she does not drive on the highway, and it's simply more car
than she needed.
Unlike my usual auctions of odd and unusual
older cars, this is one of my first attempts at selling something like this
to the general public. I think this should have a great appeal to folks
with a couple of kids. Strap them into the back, put everything else into
the cavernous trunk, and head out on the road. The Toyota V6 plants you
into your seat on acceleration and manages to get 22-24mpg in mixed driving.
Coil on plug ignition and K&N cleanable air filter element add to the
mileage enhancement over earlier/stock cars.

Payment is due within seven days of auction
close unless other arrangements are made with me in advance. No exceptions.
Acceptable forms of payment are via certified funds - cashier's cheque or
cash.

for your old car. **
Shipping can be arranged via a host of reputable
shippers advertising all over the Internet. I will not arrange shipping
for you. I will deliver the car free of charge to a D.A.S. terminal or similar
within 30 miles of Richmond only to the Buy it Now purchaser. Or you can fly
in, take the train, et.c. and drive it home. That would probably be a lot
of fun - just remember it usually costs more if you are over a day away
than using a shipper! Of course in any event I will pick you up at the train station, airport
et.c. or help you and your shipping company in any way I can.
