1995 SAAB 9000 Aero

47,500 original enthusiast-owned miles (approximate - I'm
still driving it a little)
Original owner - SAAB Cars USA, then former SCUSA CEO Dan Chasins, then
me.
All available SAAB factory options present on the 9000 Aero, including:
ABS/Traction Control/Alarm and keyfob remotes/Trip Computer/Premium Audio
Silver metallic paint in very good shape - car fully detailed
around the first of May.
Rims are factory 16" Super Aero alloys with GT Radial Champiro 205/55/VR16
tires (15k on tires)
SAAB B234R Turbocharged 2.3 litre balance shaft engine - 225bhp

Mobil 1 0W40 used since they came out with it - SAAB Semi-Synthetic Gear

Full leather interior including doorpanel inserts and power
memory heated orthopedic Aero seats.
Leather regularly cleaned and conditioned using Gliptone cleaner and conditioner
SAAB accessory all-weather sisal mats in place of usual carpet mats
Back seat hardly used, folds down for extra cargo space. Custom
windshield Heatshield included with car to keep interior temps down when
it's hot outside.

Car is also equipped with a moonroof and sliding shade to keep extra heat
from coming in on sunny days.

If this amount of space is not enough, back seats fold nearly
flat for lots of cargo space.
If Buy it Now is used, I will toss in a bunch of spare and
potential upgrade/maintenance parts I have accumulated in my personal stash.
Otherwise, I have plenty of 9000 customers and I'll just keep them in inventory.
who am I? why am I selling?
I am Chip Lamb, owner
of West of Sweden SAAB - we specialize
in the pre-1980s "vintage" SAAB. Inasmuch as I have enjoyed my
Aero, I need something I can guiltlessly pile the miles on, and I'm starting
to feel guilty as I approach the 50,000 mile mark and am using my primary
car a lot more than perhaps I should use this particular car. Of course,
you may look at this as an opportunity to get your hands on one of the lowest
mileage Aeros extant to drive daily for the next 200,000 miles; but then
again, I own a 1966 SAAB 96 Monte Carlo 850 2-stroke with 58,500 original
miles, and it's just my perspective that this car ought to be someone's
weekend enjoyment car. The 9000 Aero is a car with exceptional power and
road-feel which Saab have not duplicated in any of the new cars quite as
well for the true sportscar enthusiast, while retaining much functionality
in a 4-door hatchback configuration. Sell the Porsche 911 or the BMW M3
and pick this up - you will be pleasantly surprised!
This car has never been abused by youthful exuberance nor
has it ferried young children around - everything works and feels as it
should. In 1995, this car had a sticker price of over $45,000 - I have the
original window sticker and it comes with the car in the owners manual pouch.
Against new SAAB 9-5 Aeros, I prefer this hands down, and it still behaves
as it did when it was new - for I drove a few with under 100 miles on them
at that time.
So, I think I will find something else to pile the miles on,
and let this car go to someone who appreciates it as much as I do, but has
different goals for it.

Car must be paid in full within 7 (seven) days of auction
close, unless alternate arrangements
are made with me PRIOR to the close of auction. No exceptions. If Buy
it Now option is used, this will be regarded as auction close.
If you are new to eBay (i.e. have a new user icon next to
your user ID or have a feedback rating less than 10, please contact
me with your information and your intentions. Deadbeat or bidders with
an overly negative feedback rating are NOT welcome to bid; you know who
you are, stay away, I will prosecute any deadbeats unto the ends of the
earth.
Car must be retrieved by you or your shipping agent within
14 (fourteen) days of auction close, unless alternate
arrangements are made with me PRIOR to the close of auction. I will
NOT take responsibility for arranging shipment, I will however be happy
to accomodate you or your shipping agent to our mutual convenience. You
may also pick the car up in person if you would like - I will happily pick
you up at Richmond International Airport (Byrd Field - RIC) or Amtrak Richmond
Staples Mill Station (RVR) at our mutual convenience.
If you plan on driving the car home, I would expect certified
funds ASAP so that I may send you the title and you can get the car registered
and insured in your name.
