My '87 Vanden Plas didn't stand a chance in the same class
as the Mark IIs.
They double booked the Meadow this year so the RTR got this
parking lot for free! Not too bad, but I like the Meadow... waaahh
A Morris Minor, a '71 Shadow, a DeLorean, and Martin Davenport's
'61 Cloud II
The Minor again with a Mini. How often do you see that?
Down where all the people are were all the Healeys, MGs, Triumphs,
et.al but I only went down there to vote for some promising cars and then
back up on the hill where those of us with the more sedate cars were clustered
this year. Heh heh heh.
The aforementioned Mark II contingent stuffed in with the
XJs. Needless to say, 4 Mark IIs there, honourable mention, 3rd, 2nd and
1st prizes.
The Land Rover contingent was a little weak this year. But
the '72 Range Rover RHD was interesting.
Another interesting LR was Ray Burton's ex-MOD Series III
109 pickup. Ray didn't need to polish it up to win first place in category.
